The Loerie Mountain Bike Challenge takes place on Sunday 2 June at Loerie Ruskamp, about 60km from Port Elizabeth.
A number of race distances are on offer designed to suit riders of various physical and technical skill levels.
The 10km race consists of 2 laps of a 5km circuit, the course is a 50/50 mix of gravel road and jeeptrack and includes a few short climbs.
The longer distances are made up of laps of a more challenging 15km course designed to take in the best of the surrounding terrain. Highlights include spectacular mountain views, a "never-ending" singletrack downhill, waterfall and crystal clear stream crossings.
The Magiclight-sponsored water point will be laying on a spread of snacks and drinks at the halfway mark on the 15km circuit.
Pre entries close at midnight on Thursday 30 May with the first 200 pre-entries receiving goodie bags. Although late entries will be accepted on the morning of the race, riders are encouraged to make use of the online pre-entry system.
Food and drinks will be on sale at the Loerie Ruskamp venue.
